NEXSUS Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how NEXSUS collects, uses, stores, protects and shares personal information when you use our website, NEXSUS accounts, Autodesk Revit add-ins, support services and paid subscriptions.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the NEXSUS website, account and authentication services, NEXSUS software and Autodesk Revit add-ins, subscription and licensing services, customer support, and payment-related information received in connection with NEXSUS purchases.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account and contact information
- Name, email address and company name.
- Account and authentication information.
- Communication and support information you provide to us.
2.2 Subscription and license information
- Subscription plan and status.
- Subscription start, renewal and expiry information.
- Number of licensed devices.
- Device identifiers used for activation and license enforcement.
- License, account and activation records.
2.3 Technical and usage information
- IP address, browser, operating system and device information.
- Autodesk Revit version and NEXSUS software version.
- Feature usage, diagnostic logs, security logs, errors and crash information.
- Date and time of access and other information needed to operate and protect the service.
2.4 Revit project information
NEXSUS tools may access model information needed to perform a command selected by you, such as walls, openings, dimensions, levels, views, sheets, families, parameters or other Revit elements. Model processing is intended to occur within your Revit environment unless a feature clearly requires transmission or you voluntarily submit files to NEXSUS for support.
NEXSUS does not claim ownership of your Revit project files or model content.
3. How We Use Information
- Create, authenticate and manage NEXSUS accounts.
- Provide software, downloads, subscriptions and support.
- Activate and validate licenses and enforce purchased device limits.
- Process and reconcile purchases and payment results.
- Send account, verification, password-reset, security and transaction messages.
- Diagnose errors and improve performance and reliability.
- Detect fraud, unauthorized access, abuse or attempts to bypass licensing controls.
- Meet legal, accounting, regulatory and security obligations.
4. Payments and eFAWATEERcom
NEXSUS may make eFAWATEERcom available as a payment method. Information needed to identify, process or reconcile a payment may include your customer or account reference, order or invoice reference, payment amount, currency, transaction status and transaction reference.
Payment credentials entered directly into a bank, eFAWATEERcom, wallet or other participating payment channel are processed by that provider. Subject to the final payment flow used by NEXSUS, NEXSUS does not need to store your complete card number, CVV, banking password, wallet PIN or one-time password.
Payment services and participating financial institutions may process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
5. Sharing of Personal Information
NEXSUS does not sell or rent personal information. We may share information when reasonably necessary with:
- Payment providers and participating payment channels involved in a transaction.
- Cloud hosting, database, security, email and infrastructure providers.
- Professional advisers subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- Government, regulatory or judicial authorities when legally required.
- A successor in connection with a lawful merger, acquisition, restructuring or transfer of the business.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website may use cookies, local storage, session storage and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, account functionality, analytics and performance. Where consent is required for optional technologies, we will request it as applicable.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and transaction records, protect security, resolve disputes and comply with applicable legal, accounting or regulatory requirements. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. International Processing
Some infrastructure, cloud, email, support or security providers may process data outside Jordan. Where applicable, NEXSUS takes reasonable steps to handle international transfers in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law and its conditions, you may request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion or erasure where applicable, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent, restriction or objection where available, and other rights provided under Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may need to be retained where required for legal, security, transaction or dispute-resolution purposes.
11. Account Closure
You may request account closure or deletion of eligible personal information by contacting info@nex-sus.com. Account closure may end access to licenses, downloads and account-based services.
12. Children
NEXSUS products are intended primarily for professional, business and educational use and are not intentionally directed to children who cannot provide valid consent under applicable law.
13. Third-Party Services
NEXSUS may link to or interact with services operated independently by third parties, including Autodesk and payment providers. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
14. Cancellation and Refunds
Subscription cancellations, refund requests, duplicate payments, payment disputes and related billing matters are governed by the NEXSUS Cancellation & Refund Policy.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, payment methods, technology, legal requirements or business practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
